Stop Chat Control
My private messages with loved ones are none of anybody's business. The financial information I share with private partners is none of anybody's business. Breaking privacy, "chat control", whatever you want to call it, is an obscene invasion of privacy and personal safety. It takes nothing for a corrupt party to perverse things and acquire private information for personal or financial gain. Never mind the enormous risk of authoritarian governments abusing "legitimate" requests to persecute individuals over their political views, their identity, or whatever other reason. The EU was meant to protect its people, their safety and privacy. This isn't that.

Smoke Crypto Chat Messenger
Hallo Patrick und Piraten Der Smoke Messenger von Fdroid braucht in der Benutzeroberfläche ein Update, ggf ein Seitenmenü / Drawer implementieren. Er ist sonst aber gut und auch der Server quelloffen. Könnt ihr entweder in einem Community Projekt oder mit EU Geldern einen Fork erstellen und die GUI besser machen? Dann kann es jeder mit eigenem Server nutzen. Er gilt als der erste Messenger, der McEliece quantensicher implementiert hat. Und ist in vielem Aspekten sicherer als andere. Eine Option gegen die Chatkontrolle in Hand der Nutzer. Danke Gruss

Question regarding continues rejected proposals
Why is it allowed for something like chat control that has been rejected in various forms time and time again to be resubmitted with some minor changes or changes to the wording of the proposal? If something like that happened at school or university one would face repercussions so why can the European Commission act like this?

Transparente und dezentrale IT
1) Demokratie basiert darauf, dass deren Prozesse und Institutionen nachvollziehbar und mithin kontrollierbar sind. Dies gibt unabhängig von der Umsetzung dieser Prozesse in Technik! Wenn Prozesse nun zunehmend digitalisiert werden, muss sich diese Transparenz auch in der IT widerspiegeln. Andernfalls läuft man Gefahr Nachvollziehbarkeit und Kontrollmöglichkeiten einzubüßen und die Demokratie zu schleifen. Wenn IT aus demokratischen Anforderungen also genauso transparent sein muss, wie es die Verwaltung ohne IT ist (oder sein soll), warum sind dann offene Schnittstellen, offene Datenformate und idealer Weise offener Code (Open Source) keine Basisanforderung bei der Digitalisierung in der EU? 2) Die EU hat Subsidiarität als eines ihrer Grundprinzipien deklariert (Verträge von Lissabon). Wieso wird bei IT dieser Grundsatz dann nicht gleichermaßen eingefordert, sodass IT grundsätzliche(!) dezentral und multilingual funktionieren muss? IT meint Hardware UND Software!

Chatcontrol Different Ideas
No more Excuse …About ChatControl…It’s so easy to solve this problem. Make this law. When parents buy a phone BigTech will sell it set by default as a “teenager phone” with porn filter On. Apps? If you’re parent turn on it. And not all the Apps. I want to choose as parent. So If im Older than 18, I will provide the account with my credit card Just to unkock porn filters. Easy and cheap. “ChatControl” needs to become “ParentControl”.

EU Legislation power AI - ChatControl #HumanRights
First, I want to congratulate the EU Parliament for banning bio metric surveillance in public places, in its recommendation for AI Act. However the position of the Parliament, failed to protect the Worlds most vulnerable population, the migrants and refugees, from discriminating AI profiling. As a European citizen, I urge you to: 1. place humanity first in your decision making; 2. include peace processes as a priority, when taking position in matters, regarding conflict ridden regions and the affected population (not how to "contain" migration, but how to build peace, that automatically reduces the people fleeing their countries because of conflicts); and 3. engage European citizens in legislative decision making, propose a direct democratic referendum, before legislation is passed giving the citizens a final say. You were elected to represent the people of Europe, regardless of party affiliation, human rights; transparency; honesty; and integrity should be the core values each EU Parliamentarians adheres to. Not ever before, fundamental human rights of the European citizens have been under attack, under new legislation's proposed by the EU Commission. Next in line is a CSAR legislation that would break privacy in correspondence, followed by EU Government’s “Going Dark” program. You, as an individual and representative have the power to stop these legislation's getting implemented. Today is not the time to follow the party position, but what you as a person, a human being know what is right. Take position based on humanity, contrary to following the mass politics, vote for right to privacy, freedom of opinion, that further creates trust on 500 million citizens. This carry's farther and most importantly it saves Democracy that is currently in free fall.
